About Me

Background Information

As a full member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), the UK’s main governing body, I have spent the past 15 years working as a Relate Counsellor and Life Coach. Along side of this, I have built up a successful Practice Practice working with couples, individuals, children and young people, supporting them in improving their emotional and mental well-being. I personally believe that most difficult experiences can be connected back to our childhood, also personal relationships, past and present. Depending on those experiences, good or bad, this can have varying impacts at different stages of our life.

I have worked with many extraordinary and inspiring couples, individuals, children and young people, each bringing their own unique story.

I see the work that I do as a privilege, being able to support my clients to achieve their own personal development and growth, overcoming barriers, life hurdles and to move on to become successful in achieving their goals, no matter what they are.

Approach & Orientation

Psychodynamic – a form of depth psychology, the primary focus of which is to reveal the unconscious content of a client's psyche in an effort to alleviate psychic tension.

Systemic – working respectfully and effectively with people in ways that consider their important relationships, across generations, and the different systems and contexts in which they live.
